I've checked some usual sources, but I haven't even seen anyone mention they are working on this recently. Wondering if they've given up based on the level of encryption.
Oh, you're right. I'm not looking for a mid-recession supercar that has who knows how many corners cut. I don't trust ANY car from 08-12. Source: I did automotive testing for 7 years lol
Man I feel that.... Im still plotting my purchase. Even got the insurance quote this week and it's better coverage than my paid off car and somehow $10 for 6 months. Wtf is that nonsense.
Theres been a silicon shortage for months beyond just automotive. Everyone else has been open about the issue. I havent read Toyota/BMW be upfront with that yet.
I've been talking to a dealer this week and they are already extending the $1500 rebate and emailing me options. He said any supra in the country I want he'll ship in and do a dealer swap. So I think they know the '22 is coming soon.
Are we sure they aren't just staying quiet to keep media attention on the new 86? Anyone got friends at Denso they can ask for the low down on? Never ask toyota...ask their suppliers ;)
Hey Guys,
Looking at a 2020 LE and want to verify I can tune it before purchase. Aside from the manufacturing date, what else do I need to confirm that the ECU is still unlocked and can be tuned?
Thanks!!!
Jordan
