  1. Better brake fluid?

Interesting topic....so many variables. I have been through many, many types of brake "failures" and exceeding manufacturer design parameters. Boiled fluid, overheated pads, cracked rotors (seriously cracked, not crazed) broken disc mounting to hat hardware, tapered pads, pad knockback, etc...
  2. Better brake fluid?

Brake fluids are like oil....whole can of worms there picking one but I use charts such as this: https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group.asp?GroupID=BRAKEFLUID and https://parsbrorc.com/?page_id=33 The RB600 is a great value for the performance and I have used it in the past and was readily...
  3. Better brake fluid?

I did a few days at the track a few weeks ago. The Supra stock pads are decent for what the are, but just can't take much track heat before the pedal gets soft. Its not fluid boiling, but just overheated pads which start to create a long pedal and the feeling of less coefficient of friction...
  4. Shakedown of my new Supra at VIR

That is cool info. Hope TRD or some other companies get in the brake pad game soon. Nothing agains CSG, but just want some more options, and some rear pads available too. Competition is great. I'd love to get my hands on these but holy crap on the price....currently looking at a dirtbike...
  5. Shakedown of my new Supra at VIR

Redline Euro Series 5w-40. LL04 spec and recommended by Bimmerworld. The factory oil really comes out like water, which is probably fine but I put a hole through the block of a 18' GT350 with 1800 miles on it at VIR last year from a seized main bearing so decided to go a little overkill on...
  6. Shakedown of my new Supra at VIR

My car is a premium package bought new (for MSRP!) at the beginning of August from a local dealer. I have put 1200 miles first on street, and only changes are decent engine oil and high temp brake fluid. I have done many track days over the years, but not so much recently with only 1 or 2...
  7. AT & MT Feedback Needed

I would pay a premium for a proper manual in this car. Would not be over excited about a rubbery mediocre manual like BMW put in the E60 M5 to please the very few who demanded manual, but a proper feel like Toyota/Honda/Mazda/Porsche. A good manual available next year would make me trade my...
  8. Previous Ownership? What did you drive before the Supra?

Last few cars were 17’ M3, 18’ GT350, 14’ 911 GT3, and 18’ NSX. All great cars but really looking forward to the Supra!
