I don’t have that lip on my Supra. lol I was saying when I used to install lips on all my Hondas, I used those molding strips and it came out with an Oem look and fills the gap of between the body and lip.
I think CarvAna buyers like it because of the convenience and less hassle of buying from a dealership. And they will drop the car off in front of your house on a tow truck.
When installing a lip, I like to use some molding tape between the body to the lip for a cleaner look.

If your worried about reliability, stay with the Oem turbo and call it a day. Anything aftermarket even using an Oem core will have some issues! Once you go aftermarket, be ready to have some failures and etc It happens….
depending on which te37's you are running. The te37SL has a bigger bore than what the Supra has and it technically needs hub rings. I did not run any but tq'ed the wheels equally off of the ground and did not have any issues at all...
