I noticed when I got home from work about a week ago my trunk kinda half popped open when I pressed the trunk release on the door. I had to use the fob to open the trunk when I got out of the car. The following morning, my car hesitated to start. Since then, this same scenario has happened 4-5...

I had an ap1 years ago. It was the one car I regretted getting rid of. The supra is better in every possible way in my opinion. I’ll never make the same mistake with the A90, that’s for sure!

Any updates on whether tuners have a solution to the locked ecu’s?

You’d think that on a forum dedicated to a relatively new platform, people would want to help each other out rather than make each other’s wallets suffer from trial and error. Oh well. Anyhow, lots of great setups in this thread. If people could start posting offsets that’d be great.

Why is everyone so secretive of offsets? That’s helpful info for those of us in the market for wheels.

I finally got my paperwork to transfer my old “R EPYT” plate from my Civic Type R. No one understood it on my Civic and I doubt anyone will get it now. I just wanted a black CA plate while waiting for my “Z SUPRA” to get here. Pretty ridiculous how it takes 3 months for a plate to show up out here.

Will the stock exhaust in normal mode pass the sound check? I’ve only been once, but that was on a bike. I have another trackday scheduled (on a bike again) for Laguna Seca in June. But I’d like to take the Supra up there..

The one I’m talking about is parked off faraday every day. haven’t been to cars n coffee since it stopped in Carlsbad a few years ago. I’ll meet you one of these Saturdays down there. I have work and a few upcoming trackdays for the next few Saturday’s. I think I’m free the first week in April.

I posted in the California thread but new absolutely zero owner here from San Diego . I made the switch from a civic type r to the Supra and couldn’t be happier!

To piggyback on my previous post, I bought the car from Toyota of Carlsbad at I think $100 or so under MSRP. I was happy about that, as Toyota of Escondido is charging 20k over. Made it an easy decision for me.
