Hey boss, I had my windshield replaced too (saw your post in another thread) and the auto function says it malfunctioned.
Was it truly a burnt fuse for you?

Rexpeed are good mirrors. I'm on my second set (yellow, first set was blue) and they're great.
Though their website looks like it's from 2004, Rexpeed ships quickly and uses DHL.
Some background context or history of what youāve done or been doing would help because pending codes are very much unrelated from your codes throwing up cat code.

Thatās what I did. All the calibration and update were done by myself.
Iām going to write a guide for the forum thatās a bit more accessible than the ones found online. Super easy to setup.

Been plagued with the parking assistant malfunction error blessed to us by BMW. After messing with ISTA and calibrations for two days, it was a software update that fixed it. Classic. :rolleyes1:
Update for anybody who runs into this issue in the future.
I updated my car from S18T-21-07-555 to S18T-22-11-553 and no more parking assistant malfunction. I'm guessing itās a common bug as suggested by others. System is working like it should and car isnāt throwing anymore errors.
Got an ENET and Toyota ISTA.
Recalibrated EPS and suggested test modules given by the errors. Cleared the errors.
When backing out this morning, the sensors work, camera work, etc.. but after about 5 seconds, the car then throws the "parking assistant malfunction" even though the sensors are...
This issue is plaguing me. Iāve disconnected battery, cleared codes via Bimmerlink, cleaned via WD-40, tested all sensors by placing objects standing next to them, etc..
The sensors WORK full 360 around the car but the the error keeps persists whenever I put the car in reverse like yāall...
