I'm a noob but what will the underside of the car show? The only thing in my mind would be the suspension, is there something even more vital than that I'm missing?
I'm joking as there's nothing of value underneath but wanted to post this. Try to take a look at the spoiler and size of the vents to see if we can compare to the production version.
Was just wondering. Guess we'll wait for the V6 to trickle down. This should be fun to watch in the coming years...barring any economical crashes obviously.
Huh, wonder if the engineers working on the I6 will be the ones to craft a new GR series of I6 and bring them back to their lineup?
This is also counting the Lexus variant of a Supra.
We need videos of the event. I'm just curious if there's a rev limiter so it doesn't scream as they rather let the public hear that during a press showing.
None more than a concentrated forum of twenty year olds who vape and drive mustangs.
That's a joke I read somewhere from them. Guess we wait when the wait is over.
FYI, If BMW did assist and pushed to help make the Supra above and beyond what was believed for Toyota ie funding or design, I am sure BMW would let them know what's coming soon to their respective lineup. Adding on to this, Toyota would be getting news first hand before us of what is coming...
Oh, i am fully aware. I was being hopelessly optimistic at the car being priced way less. But tada and sources already confirmed a 54k ish price tag all the way up to a 62k price tag. A70 said possible 40k for the 4 banger and from there is a toss up of how much changes are placed in this car...
EDIT:

"We don’t want to get ahead of ourselves, but we’d be surprised if Lexus keeps the RC F’s 5.0-liter V-8 engine and does nothing in the way of giving it increased power figures. The current RC model produces...
I personally wouldn't want it to be if 192 HP on a 40k car is correct. The thing won't sell.
But if what Mrarm says is correct and Euro spec, that might be an entirely different case.
The car weighs like that after doing some drastic weight reduction.
A90 been said to be between 3000-3350
Though, the weight of the 4 cylinder has me curious if it can be 2800 because of engine mass
A70 said this contradicts what he was told. It's possible a the highest trim has the CF, away from the base Supra.
We have no clue what trim or drivetrain was used at Goodwood either since the engine couldn't be seen.
No, I'm just curious where BRPerf got these numbers and specs. I like that this is possible, and also like that it is relatively cheap to break. It's the 192 HP that has me ??? complete with the high torque numbers too. We'll see when things get confirmed later.
MY is 2020 but will be on sale next year.
Luckily, by 2020, more Supras should be available and potentially a manual option will be in the mix. And the outrageous inflation from dealer markups should die down.
I want to call bull not on the numbers because the boost is awesome, all around at that kind of price. The bull is in regarding the base specs and if Toyota had given them a four banger to mess around with.
But with this, I see the next few months getting hectic and after the reveal, it's just...
