Less true with Gen2 B58. They can handle a lot of boost now. For looks until you get serious about HP.

275/35/19 and 305/35/19 will fit fine with those offsets.

What are the offsets?

BMW has spent a lot of time working to SLOW the loss of heat after the engine shuts off. Why? Quickly heating and cooling is what causes plastic parts to fail (your valve cover, intake, water pump, etc). They found if they can keep some of the heat under the hood and slow the cool down time...
