I just changed the pads on my Supra (front & rear) long before the OEM pads were worn out, so the sensors don't need to be replaced, and obviously I have no Brake Pad Service Light on. I zip-tied my brake pad wear sensors out of the way as I'm now running track pads. Entering Diagnostic Mode I...
As @DC5UPRA suggested, this error went away after a few cycles. Of course, in its place I got a "check tyre pressure" message which MHD suggests isn't related.. but I'm not convinced. I think @lucky phil's historical data theory is on the money and I'm hoping that as this data is re-acquired...
Yeah, I took her out a few times today and she definitely has more power despite only pushing her to maybe 70-80%. And yes, I'm running the stage 2 OTS map on 98RON which I believe is equivalent to your 93. I know there's more power running E85 but 98/93 is plentiful here and I'm not convinced...
Yea, but you know software
I'm assuming the historical oil change data is now missing and the system can't calculate the oil wear data. Can you reset the oil change required notification to zero it out or does it need to actually be presented to do that?
Phil
My feedback.
"somehow, the car got shut off" - not sure if that is not a native english speaker, or it means that somehow someone turned the car off. They can charge the battery, but you are better off just getting a new one and charging that one - they will have to reset the low battery...
Yup, bumping oil pressure 4500 rpm + by just a little worked for me. Even at 29psi boost.
I got it once on track, and right after a shift at high RPM. I run 5w40.
Since I'm currently chasing this issue, I figured I will also share my research. Short story, for most people newly encountering this issue after adding power and/or HPFP, this is tuning related.
To preface, I had a tune finalized w/ stock HPFP and pure850. The stock pump was pushed to its...
If you already tripped the sensor and have the dash light and warning on idrive you have to buy new ones. The context of your post makes it seem as if you already tripped them. The OP did change his sensors, which you did not.
i’m facing the same issue here, I changed my brake pads yesterday without buying new brake sensors and did bleeding for brake oil. I tried bimmerlink to reset service for front and rear brakes but still not working. Only brake fluid reset from bimmerlink worked. Engine oil service, front & rear...
I just reset my service light today using the diagnostic mode without issue. It was “reset possible”.
My car was purchased in August 2023, service (oil change) set to 12,000 km / August 2024. I currently have just over 3,000 km. I have already changed the oil myself twice (once at 1,700 and...
I did my first few services under the Toyota-Care umbrella for 2 years. Just changed the oil myself this weekend since its out of program and its something Ive been waiting to just do myself. Sitting there for hours waiting for an oil change is so silly.
On a side note, I noticed I got this...
I did some searching on this topic and didn't find anything. But for anyone that is wanting to reset your oil service with map switching enabled. When trying to follow the steps holding the BC stalk button in diagnostic mode it will flash the CEL to change maps and not reset. I tried using the...
Is your car the only one back there? There's not 15 guys anxiously waiting till you get there. They take the car back, and when it's your turn, they'll get to you. They don't start on it the second it drives into the bay lol.
And the reset you can do yourself. Takes 10 seconds.
...Then long press the trip odo reset button until you see a menu on the gauge cluster come up. Scroll through that with the same trip button until you find the oilreset option. Then I believe it's just another one or two long presses of the trip reset button to reset the oil maintenance due...
When I get oil changes at the dealer it takes Forever, and the reason they tell me is resetting the "maintenance due" light. I asked & the tech said the mechanic was unable to reset the light on the car, so they had to use the computer. They don't see many Supras, so the dealer's computer...
You can't reset your brake lights until you tell us what the best oil to use and the best tires for 500-600whp to use for getting traction for roll racing.
Or actually read the maintenance schedule in the warranty book. Calls for engine oil and filter change every 10,000 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. Not that I recommend waiting that long, but you brought up the whole warranty adherence thing.
You have no idea if some moron at the...
