Rock/Bob walked me through how to remove those damn pad sensors. No more computer error screen. I can actually visually inspect the pad wear ?

Dang, I can't get mine to reset with either the diag menu or bimmer link. I'm sure my sensor is fine, I disconnected it and taped it off a long time ago, since I constantly change pads for track days.

I just changed the pads on my Supra (front & rear) long before the OEM pads were worn out, so the sensors don't need to be replaced, and obviously I have no Brake Pad Service Light on. I zip-tied my brake pad wear sensors out of the way as I'm now running track pads. Entering Diagnostic Mode I can only see Engine Oil, Brake Fluid and a generic "Service" option to reset. I don't see a Brake Pad option.
So, do I need to worry about resetting the Brake Pad service interval or not? Now that my brake pad sensors are zip tied out of the way they will never throw a fault code. I've got BimmerCode but not BimmerLink, so if I don't have to buy it I rather wouldn't.

If the pad sensors are intact and zipped out of the way no reason to look for them in the menus. The option to reset will only populate when they have been "tripped"
