OK so I just went through this and I’m going to spell it out clearly for anyone having the same problem.
If you are unsuccessful in clearing your brake reset using the dash and you have verified that your brake wear sensor is good i.e. you have replaced it if it wore down with your break pads. Then you must use BimmerLink not BimmerCode to reset or go to your dealer.
The brake wear sensor is like a squeak tab. The difference is it’s just a piece of plastic with a wire in it. once the plastic wears down letting the wire be broken the car knows your pads are low. Since the wire is broken you must replace the wear sensor then reset.

The problem comes when you reach the time to do the service but not the miles and then it says “reset impossible.” Then it gets tricky. lol
Still struggling to reset that god damn brake pad warning annoying as fuck. Never worked.

Damn I got bimmer code lmao. Guess I gotta buy bimmer link now. Thanks for the info.
Here is some of the stuff that you can reset for the Supra in bimmer link.

Dang, I can't get mine to reset with either the diag menu or bimmer link. I'm sure my sensor is fine, I disconnected it and taped it off a long time ago, since I constantly change pads for track days.

I just changed the pads on my Supra (front & rear) long before the OEM pads were worn out, so the sensors don't need to be replaced, and obviously I have no Brake Pad Service Light on. I zip-tied my brake pad wear sensors out of the way as I'm now running track pads. Entering Diagnostic Mode I can only see Engine Oil, Brake Fluid and a generic "Service" option to reset. I don't see a Brake Pad option.

So, do I need to worry about resetting the Brake Pad service interval or not? Now that my brake pad sensors are zip tied out of the way they will never throw a fault code. I've got BimmerCode but not BimmerLink, so if I don't have to buy it I rather wouldn't.
