3-4 year run tops and it will be discontinued. Official reason = it was always meant to be a limited production run (lack of sales).

I think that he got a 2nd chance to make the 86 he wanted, wasn’t so focused on making the Supra everyone wanted.

Toyota made a big mistake with this car. This whole cost savings thing is bs, they sure don’t have a problem blowing money on Lexus. This is a half baked idea to save on costs, resurrect the Supra name, right the wrongs they made with the 86 and learn something from BMW. This will be a fun car...
