Ugh, to think we’ve waited this long, and will have to continue waiting for the badass Supra is definitely frustrating. I’m losing patience, Toyota! Lucky for me, it looks like the new Corvette C8 is also getting hit with delays, so maybe there’s still a chance for the Supra.

Congrats! I have 2015 WRX in that same color. It’s my daily driver as well, and I love it. Didn’t know the newer year STI had the RA motor. They’ve been sticking with that legacy motor for quite some time lol.

Which Corvette fans are these? I’ve been lurking on corvetteforum and everybody there seems pretty excited. I think the switch to ME was a necessary change IMO

This is exactly what I’m worried about. We all know that US TRD =/= GR lol. That Japan allocation is looking good for you, A70 ;) I truly hope we don’t get shafted out of the GR Supra.

By no means am I looking to get the car tomorrow. You could say I’m overly excited for sure. I do have a plan to get a car (and have budgeted to do so) by early spring/next summer. Whether I jump the gun and do that, or wait for Toyota to bring out this special car is what I’m trying to figure...

Right on. Do you think the US has a fair shot at getting these special cars? I’m assuming they’d be labled as GR cars, and we’ve never gotten anything like that. Let’s face it, they can give us TRD version, but we all know how bogus the TRD versions of cars are in the US lol, no offense.
