& you think because they have made 800 billion since then, its wise to splash billions knowingly that they will never recuprate this back? As a business decision, it’s not at all wise.
Yes they invest in R&D, but just a basic guess when looking at projects like the mirai can tell you they are...
I just went into a dealer and asked for more information on the Supra. He said it was going to be unveiled at the Paris Motorshow.
He also has taken some details for me, and said he would let me know more about pricing and anything else as soon as he can. He seems confident he will be getting...
I dont think so. If you call it the FT-?? then people who have been waiting for a new supra for all these years will be unhappy that they didnt get a supra..
Its a case of you cant impress everyone for toyota
You say that like $2-9 billion isnt a lot of money to a company. The risk of introducing a new Supra is major itself. You can’t just decide to start gunning for the market leader (Porsche 718 Cayman) when you haven’t made an engine in the same calibre since 2002.. The Supra isn’t going to be...
I understand a lot of people are upset that the new A90 Supra isn’t quite the slice of cake they were expecting & I don’t blame a lot of you either. I mean if you owned the A80, then you would understand better than someone like myself (who has only dreamt of owning one) as you have experienced...
Except the new WLTP means that the new WLTP regs mean that the Golf R is now downrated to 296... such a piss take.
Apparently though, this A90 Supra will also be victim to this which means European markets will get the downrated HP of 340-360 [est] while US market gets the fully blown, louder...
I do hope so to be honest. I think the I6 (only one I am really interested in), will be priced starting from ÂŁ42,000 at base, which I wouldn't mind. Gives me some space for options. I'm hoping they will have good offers for them when my current car goes back
I'm from the UK, and really want a new Supra.. but only at the right price. If it hits anything around ÂŁ50,000 + for then I6 Supra then I'm afraid it's not going to happen. It's too expensive IMO, especially when I can take a new M2 off the lot at a cheaper price. Couldn't imagine many others in...
Sounds about right to me. Tada-San has always spoken highly of the Porsche 718 Cayman, which just happens to be in the same price range. So I would expect it to be just a tad cheaper than the Z4 M40i
The Toyota Supra A90’s Supra is shaping up to be a typical BMW interior only with a slight Toyota twist.
It’s not the worst thing in the world IMO because BMW design some of the most solid interiors currently available. I hope Toyota adopt the iDrive system, only with a Toyota skin.. Toyota’s...
