Not yet. I picked it up in April and figured I'd do Grattan in June or July. Usually the org I use which is 3 Balls has Grattan track days almost once a month in the summer. For some reason this year it was May and September. So I'll probably do one of the September sessions.
Nice. I'm doing the day before, the 10th. It'll be my first time at this track. I usually just go to Grattan 2 to 3 times per year. Figured I'd try something new.
But that's what the video is showing and that's why I mentioned all the mods. Click on the Youtube video and open up the description to see what mods each car has. Also, the numbers I mentioned are fairly realistic whp/tq where as the number you're referencing for the c8 is the rated bhp. The...
Supra with e50 tune, DP, exhaust and filter is around 500hp and high 500s tq. The C8 in the video with filter change and exhaust is around 460hp and 440tq. You don't think a Supra with +40hp and over 120tq more can beat a c8 in a rolling race? Especially given it weights a good 200lbs less...
That's quite an exaggeration in how much power is needed to beat that C8 in a rolling race . The mods are in the topic. The Supra makes around +50hp and over 100tq more than the C8 while weighting 150-200lbs less stock. Definitely don't need 700hp or anywhere close to it to beat a c8 in a...
Start simple. Pull each wheel off and look at the back of them for any damage or fouling. I've learned my lesson in the past in that if something does not move freely or makes a noise...I immediately stop and look over my work.
There isn't anything wrong with those numbers. Personally I would have had him keep rear camber around -2 deg. He pulled you all the way back to around 1.7ish. The specs for the car are 1.7 to 1.9 to begin.
I'm not sure why your BS meter would be pining at all. As already shown in the video, you can't adjust the hp/tq visuals inside of the IDrive system without flashing the DME. It's been like that even for unlocked BMWs. Yet he provides a video showing manipulation of the hp/tq values inside of...
I thought I'd mention this since the thread was brought back up. You don't need to take off the wheel nor do you need to peak under the boot to tell if these are on. Just jack up the car so that the tire is just off the ground. From there you can reach in and grab around the middle of the...
I guess I'd have to ask if you have drop springs and what your before adjustment camber was front and rear. They should have given you a print out with all the before and after information.
As already mentioned, front camber is not adjustable. You will need camber plates, drop springs or coilovers if you want more negative camber in the front.
