Can’t tell if this is a troll post or not. This isn’t a camry to be on a 10K interval oil change schedule. Spend that door dash money on an oil change every 5K, problem solved.

21' with about 48k miles, msi intake (installed at 40kish), with no other performance mods on stock oil.
Got a low oil warning at 38/39k miles (last service prior to that was at 30k miles around december 2023) and now I got another low oil warning again at 48k. I also had an issue with coolant...
this or just check the coolant levels in the small reservoir. if it's low or empty then the a/c will blow warm. it's common to have leaks if the heat exchanger at the front of the car gets punctured by a rock or something.
My AC started blowing hot air and then no air at all.
Took it to the dealer and they found that the low temp circuit coolant pump had seized.
The low temp circuit pump pumps coolant to exchange heat with the AC freon.
Since that particular pump had seized my AC went bye bye :(
Hopefully they added HT12 and not generic coolant.
In regards to the error -- Everyone'll get it with enough heat and aggressive driving. I've had to top mine off a few times during track days (Distilled water)
My 2021 Supra (~22K miles) just notified me that the coolant is low. I had the system checked and no leaky was found, but the shop add ~12oz to top system off. Has any else had a similar issue with coolant being low?
Loving it overall - just wishing cold starts were a bit quieter.
Was going to get some sound clips, but got a lovely lowcoolant warning as soon as I cranked it up today. Have to get to BMW tomorrow and pick some up.
Here's an excerpt from the owners manual.
The coolant may be overfilled in the coolant reservoir when the vehicle is delivered from the factory. The normal coolant level is achieved by operating the vehicle for a longer period.
So if your car wasn't overfilled slightly from the factory and the...
So I got the lowcoolant alert today as I was about to take my kids on a joyride. So much for that idea unfortunately.
Popped the coolant cap off and do not see much in the way of corrosion buildup around on the cap/reservoir threads. There is SOME but a very light amount (nothing like the...
...warmup and a restart, the message and yellow warning triangle goes away.
I've opened my reservoir when cold and no coolant is visible. Strange, as I was under the impression that lowcoolant means there is a leak.
Sooo, I'll go pick up a gallon of coolant so i can add to my "sealed" coolant...

Common issue with the coolant caps. Check that first. Also what Razorlab said
I had a setup kind of like you are thinking about. I had an iPhone X that I was no longer using after moving over to Android. I used a SIM card for a tablet plan so I could still use it for data (apps for CarPlay, iMessage, etc.) and I used a low profile 90 degree USB cable which kept the...
you generally want glycol mixtures above 25 percent. below that, bacteria will not be killed. at very low levels (say 5 percent-ish) the coolant acts as food for bacteria
50/50. When low, I add more premix. I’m lazy and it’s easy.
Keep your tire pressure down, bleed or flush your brake fluid often, and do your oil & diff fluid changes a bit more often. That’s what you hear about & notice most.
The Antifreeze question aside the less coolant you use below 50/50 mix the more corrosion you risk. Straight water with or without water wetter is the most thermally effective solution and ok for race engines where corrosion isn't really a major concern but on a road car it's another thing.
The...
My check engine light went on about a week or so ago. I ran the code and it shows p0118. I ordered part number 89422-WAA02 and replaced it. Temperature gauge still fluctuating from low, normal, to hot. No coolant leak and coolant levels are normal. Is there another part I need? I have a 2023...
