I never really heard when Toyota ever solved an issue with this car. They just put you on a waiting list.... ? I also have a 2019 model but never use the iDrive system. Only Apple Carplay and usually Waze for maps.

No, not really. You have to go through an annoying process every time you start it up. Just take it easy the first 15-20 min and you'll be all good. If you want to make sure then purchase a OBD adapter and track the temps with your phone. I use the OBDLink CX with Bimmerlink.

Turn off Auto Start/Stop Change the brightness on the dim screen Turn off active sound design (the fake engine noise) Always make the car start on sport mode etc. etc.

There's just too much rattle in this car. It's driving me nuts sometimes. I fixed the speaker rattling and also the belt retractors, but still the harness bar and some other stuff rattles sometimes. I guess I'll have to live with it ?
