I am in the exact same dilemma as you. The stock wheels are nice, especially after some metallic Gunmetal powder coat, 13/15mm spacers and springs the stance is alright too. the H&R did not drop nearly enough in the rear so I am thinking with my next tire swap go with a 295/35/19, or maybe a 40...
I just had my 3rd oil change done at 10,500 miles. I had the oil changed at the dealer at 500 miles, A for break in, and B because the car sat for a year on the lot. then again at 5500, and yesterday, except no more 0w-20 water, Went with ROWE 5w-40, now that I am stage 2 e30. I took a nice...
My mistake, everyone I have heard has said opposite about tuned 21's that after the recall you will be locked. I know all 2020's will just need a bench flash! thank you @Marshall@ViscontiTuning for clearing up
yep watched them get installed by my shop who's done more supra's than I can count, I read somewhere that it could be the foam isolator that is damaged and needs to be replaced cause the more I think about it one day I just noticed it got really stiff after a few months or so
You WILL be LOCKED out, if you are a 2020, that is the only way to get the recall and still be able to bench flash, all 2021's regardless of ecu date with be locked the same as 6/20+ cars after the recall, if you want to tune ever DO NOT get the recall until they come out with a real unlock for...
because they all are the same. Personally if you just want an OEM style I can have it done for a lot less than 1650 and even after the core refund. But everything I have seen and my research, while a few are assembled in the U.S, they are all the same stuff.
I can do with no carbon, full leather or alcantara, just a thicker wheel, it can be round bottom or flat bottom. OEM plus style, can have it match the OEM style leather and stitching.
so let's get you one for half of that. the new wheel is a lot thicker than the thin OEM One, mine is installed. text me (561)-236-6280 and I'll get you some photos!
yes but a lot require minimum orders, and shipping is not cheap... 550+ generally 100-150 in shipping and it is not always easy to deal with the manufacturers.
I am not a big gtr fan, but if I had money, I would def buy both of those, and lock them in a climate controlled garage with delivery mileage for the next 40 years.
okay define bricked... like they actually damaged the ecu? if so they will replace it with another 2020 ECU which even after the software update is funny tunable, you just need a bench flash, $150-300 depending where you go and can be done remotely. the only ecu's that got the 2021 lock, were...
