Upgraded the exhaust today. HKS Super Turbo - Urban Matte Edition. I know for many in the US this is considered a 'quiet' exhaust, but the Australian spec mufflers that come stock are super quiet so this is quite a step up. Differences between stock AU spec and this for anyone who might be...
Yeah looks like it's to support a BMW head unit. Doesn't look like it's for the Z4 though.
Perhaps it's not even from your car? Even if it was from your car, how the hell would it get from behind your dash to under your seat?
Did it fall under there at the factory?
Do you have a shot of the other side? or a part no?

7181A-WAA01 maybe?
The Active Audio has a lot to do with the audio sounding bad. If you have a DP you'll probably turn that off so you should see some improvement there.
I'm also an Android user. I purchased a reconditioned iPhone, a cheap data only SIM and I've installed all my mapping and audio apps on there...
Yep, exactly as Phil suggests! Wait until it arrives and see how you feel a month into ownership. I got restless waiting and also ended up with stuff that the car didn't actually need. Things like the exhaust for example, the OEM one got a little louder after a few thousand km's so did I really...
For anyone worried about scratched leather from dogs, you can get tiny dog shoes for the purpose of protecting your dogs paws from hot ground. These are equally as good at protecting car leather or paint from pet scratches.
Ahh sorry, I wasn't clear, the BMW that I took delivery of that same week came with all those 'free' unexpected upgrades / gifts.
The Supra came with nada.
Yeah, mats included for footwells, not for the boot though. Toyota are pretty tight with the accessories and extras. Essentially the Jetstar of the car world. A few days before the Supra arrived I took delivery of a BMW Touring (work vehicle). On the BMW's delivery day I received a ton of stuff...
Getting in: Ass sideways on the seat, fold forward with head down and rotate 90 deg. It's definitely not the easiest.
Getting out: I place my outside hand on the door sill and kinda roll out like I'm doing a one handed rolling push up. Having that giant sill there and sitting so low actually...
If it arrives in January your wait times will still be many months earlier than 90% of other Aussies. Some of he people in this thread waited up to 13 months. Ordering a MKV requires some patience.
Yep, had the exact same issue. That gunmetal color from a few years ago was just perfect. Also went with White as wasn't impressed with any of the other colors. The Matte Grey is amazing but I'm not up for the maintenance required to look after it.
Good luck with the wait.
Yeah sure.
EDIT: Took the car to another shop to get another opinion based on the response here. Seems like the numbers on the original alignment weren't correct anyway. Not sure if their machine was out of whack or what but have had it all cleaned up.
No previous thread, that's just 'what I did to my Supra today'. Car wasn't feeling great on throttle. It would float and it just didn't feel confident in corners. A simple wheel alignment at a local performance shop and the cars character has improved dramatically. Quite a relief TBH.
The...
I'm 2k km/s into ownership and got a wheel alignment today. Wow, talk about a difference. The floaty, disconnected feeling that was bugging me has gone. The car now feels planted right though the corners and on throttle. Best money I've spent so far.
If you're a new owner I highly recommend it...
