I have a mst v2 intake installed, I have a catless downpipe ready to install as well as a charge pipe, was wondering if I can run these without a tune? Im going to use a JB4 and custom map in a couple months once I get my full exhaust, for the meantime can I run like this?
Currently have a mst v2 intake, FTP charge pipe and have a boostlogic catless dp ready to install, was wondering what map I should run once I install the downpipe? I will get a custom map from jesse once I install my exhaust but for the meantime with these mods what map should I run? Or should I...
Sweet this was the A91 I wanted but everyone wanted too much. I ultimately settled on a 2023 Premium 3.0 M/T in Renaissance Red 2.0 and it's spectacular, the way that all the lines are clearly seen and all the black molding and gun metal wheels contrast with the red.
I wanted to ask you about...
Plan on running catless DP, boostlogic exhaust, charge pipe, cold air intake and JB4 with custom map from jesse dabears, would I need an intercooler? I dont plan on tracking the vehicle. Just plan on doing fbo and jb4 then going towards cosmetics
I'm curious: Did you put the 2.0 up for sale, and what was the offer? You're the second prominent 2.0 that sold it out of the blue, and I'm wondering where's all the offers for my build?! Although I don't know what I'd move on to yet, but congrats on the 86. I love that color blue.
Which would you choose? Price is roughly similar. I have a stock 2023 and am looking at a full exhaust setup. I won't run a catless DP, so thats out of the question. When is the full 4" back to dual 3" really worth it (for the ETS)? Is the ETS setup much louder? Which would you choose? Mods...
Congrats on the car! I would drop the oil and check for RTV first thing.
My Brother has worked on 2 warranty claims for spun bearings due to the RTV issue.

Dude that sucks!!!!!! I would check the BM3 pages or ask your tuner how to turn it down or off on track days. I don’t know if that’s possible like the JB4?!? I do know I turn my JB4 off at Sebring and problem has never happened again for me.
So, I received a ridiculously good offer on my Supra that I just couldn’t pass on, so it’s gone. Picked up a little 23 GR86 which will be a part time track rat / spare car.
2023 Neptune Blue GR86 Premium
Has a few upgrades from the factory like the black GR cat-back exhaust and GR shift...
I don’t mind the CEL light and my catless dp with AWE exhaust sounds like a beast! The JB4 adds some more boost if you don’t feel the stock is enough power. Jesse at 1FastSupra does a fantastic job on a custom tune & making it smoother.
If questioning anything, stick with stock as much as you...
I want to get a catless downpipe, but not knowledgeable on mods. Is JB4 and MHD the same thing just different brands? would I be able to ride with the CEL or would it cause actual problems?
I‘m too scared to add it up…. Every SPL part, sway bars, springs, pads, rotors, fluids, heat exchanger (to be installed), tires, wheels, JB4, exhaust, catless dp, intake, wind buffeting thing, and lots of this looks nice stuff…
Asking 50K OBO. Original owner, no accidents. Has 40K miles but majority all highway miles (Stockton to Fremont which is ~160 miles daily). Has some rock chips on the front from commuting but nothing serious. Also, the TPMS Sensor is on due to a flat I had a while back. I think the sensor got...
Just curious, how many miles do you have on your Kenji (and how many with the tune?). Do you daily?
I'm so excited to go catless and a Jesse tune soon! I was really hoping the 2022's would be unlocked by now but I'm starting to become inpatient
1. I really have missed a lot with regard to your car changes
2. I have an AWE touring on my DD and it's great
3. You are able to switch from track to touring easily. Basically they'll just sell you the rear section and got can bolt that on in place.
4. How are you enjoying the jb4 in...
Definitely try the touring. The conversion is so easy to do and undo that you might as well. If you decide to stick with the track version I’m sure you could sell the touring bits no problem.
