I agree with you. I was half joking. If I had the capital to treat it as an "investment" and just keep it in the garage for something to look at Jay Leno style then sure.
Lol. No idea where the 1980 is coming from. Even his description states its a 1985. Either that or the US of A was about 15 years behind on the import game.

Those seats gotta go though
I always kinda thought that whatever the amount of oil you put in is pretty much what you get out. It just seems like a lot of people are okay with it being low after a few thousand miles. I dont understand that but I am far form an expert. I know they dont all have that issue so I will see how...
Hence why I edited my original post lol. Started to think maybe I was being a bit......much? I just have trust issues with dealerships. Sales Finance. Service. All of it:(
That is what is irritating me about it on the FB group. Seems like 80% of the people on there are just adding oil whenever it tells them to. I mean if they have tuned or modded their car its possible Toyota wouldnt cover it under warranty anyways but still....
I feel like there is going to be a...
I dont know jack about cars so forgive me in advance. Would low oil at 10K miles be okay? Thats about when it is due for service so to me that might actually make sense? Someone smarter than me feel free to take it from here:D
The crappy part for me is it seems like some people arent realizing they have the issue until they are at around 10,000 miles. Where this is a weekend/date night car with my wife it will probably take us 2 years to hit that mark. Good thing the powertrain warranty covers 5 years.
What is the manufacture date on you guy's 21's? I dont know if its true, but I did see someone mention it seems to be an issue with models that were manufactured late in 2020.
Looks like the OP has had his since August so I am not sure how true it is. I dont know if his would qualify as a...
I don’t know if this is accurate, but on the FB group I’m a part of it seems to be people who have followed their break in procedure by the book. Supposedly the people who “beat” on their car and drive them like they are meant to are having less issues.
I have no idea if it’s true or if those...
I do indirect lending for a living and I know dealers pull shadier stuff than that all the time. If that is considered fraud then every finance manager I know should be in prison cause those MFer’s are dishonest as all hell.
