I'm still apprehensive with $1400 for a DP, but I spent money on everything else :D :D :D . Gonna keep the Stock DP and run HKS Carbon intake, Tomei Exhaust, with the JB4. But you never know. Once I get gapped by something surprising which can be anything, Might just go full send :headbang:and...
Watching.
I'm seriously looking at getting this with a JB4, Tomei Exhaust, and HKS Intake.
Honestly I kind of don't mind the CEL popping up, as long as I can clear it, put all the stock parts back on, and take it to the dealer with minimal trace, I'm good...
Nailed it. Only thing I would add is the Fi exhaust for the 2.0 alongside the Armaspeed CAI.
Jesse's E30 protune on the B48 is especially wild in the performance it produced, alongside perfect timing and such a smooth powerband all the way to red.
running FI exhaust and jb4 and my flaps are only controlled by the button on the turn signal stalk, regardless of the driving mode I’m in.
I would also like to know of a fix to have my driving mode dictate the behavior of the exhaust valves.
I have a locked 2021 supra and I really want a new downpipe. I thought about getting the AA downpipe, but $1400 ouch. so I was wondering if I got a different downpipe that set my CEL off could I clear the code using JB4? if not what can I use?
Sounds like the 2.0 is a perfect fit for your needs and goals. No tune needed for a catback exhaust or CAI. I do highly recommend the JB4 and Jesse's Pro tune though for even just a strong 93 Map. It's untraceable unlike a standard flash tune, so no worries on voiding the powertrain warranty...
Thanks for the detailed response! Yeah, I am not going for straight line power much anymore; I had a 2016 SS Camaro before this, so I've have my time with the straight line power. My goal is to get something relatively efficient that's lightweight, but I also want a quality interior. The Supra...
Thanks for the mention @zrk . The B48 is a pretty fantastic platform for those more interested in the twisties and track, than straight raw power. However, with the JB4, Jesse DaBears tune and a solid E30 map (which he absolutely nails), you can make it night and day from stock.
Check out...
There is some stuff, but not like the 3.0, that’s why I asked. There are exhausts, intakes, downpipes.. bolt on stuff. JB4 works for tuning as well. @R_R8TED put a nice 2.0 together.
If you planning on modding hard, you’ll kick yourself for not going 3.0.
Currently running a JB4 Map 2, FTP Charge Pipe, CAI, and FI Catback Exhaust on my 2021 Supra. Definitely has a nice bit of power compared to stock, but im itching to throw a bigger turbo and dp on it soon. Looking to make around 550-600 whp so I dont have to touch the tranny, and to make it...
Hey all, I have had my post-6/20 Supra for ~8k miles now, and I am looking to add some power to it. I have an AWE exhaust coming in soon, and my next plans are for some new tires. After that, what would be the next steps? I was thinking a JB4 and a P800/P850. What would I need to do with the JB4...

Took mine to Landers Toyota in Little Rock. Rolled up with catless downpipe, slammed with Tomei exhaust, jb4 and dual meth injection set up. No problem. They even called me to check before starting the recall to make sure I knew if that if my ecu was unlocked with a tune that it would re lock...
Yeah- don't do this. That's an insane amount of money for a piggyback.
One of the previous posts from that OP said "I trust the tuners at AC more than JB4", which is like saying, "I trust my mechanic more than Snap-On tools."
Buy a JB4, call @Jesse DaBears and go that way. They are...
