I'm interested in gong catless. I hard the Armytrix catless with simulator works with the JB4?

Is this the case?

And are there any other catless DP that work with the JB4, with no tune, and no CEL.

Armytrix i've heard has no CEL with the built in sim. JB4 does nothing to remove a check engine light, it just allows you to clear it over and over.

Sorry about that I meant Armytrix not AMS. Edited! Curios to know if there are any other options other than Armytrix If that's the only and best way to go then "this is the way" lol...

I’m not sure why you wouldnt potentially be able to run almost any catless downpipe with an o2 spacer that would get it out far enough to not cause a reading that would lead to a cel. Paying 700+ after shipping for a catless downpipe is ridiculous to me.
Also curious what their “cat simulator” is because looking at it both o2 sensors appear to be in exactly the same spot as every other downpipe manufacturer

I agree %100 …That's the $700+ dollar question my friend, lol...I've looked all through the Supra Forums. There seem to be just 1 catless DP that consistently doesn't throw a CEL which is Armytrix. And for Catted, AA, which is $1400. Question comes with the catless DP, if the O2 sensor is the same, or similar then why is it throwing a CEL, and what makes the Armytrix different than the other 10-15 catless dp options out there.

I'm still apprehensive with $1400 for a DP, but I spent money on everything else :D :D :D . Gonna keep the Stock DP and run HKS Carbon intake, Tomei Exhaust, with the JB4. But you never know. Once I get gapped by something surprising which can be anything, Might just go full send :headbang:and say fu** the warranty.

Armytrix and functionwerk are the only 2 I know of that will not currently throw a CEL. I do have the armytrix and can confirm no CEL at this moment. As far as getting a lower priced cat vs those 2 I mentioned (~$590) the ones with out the built in sim will throw a CEL from everything I read. You can even get these O2 sims your referring to and piggyback it with the cat but in the end they do not work….yup even that one. Does not work….I do not know from personal experience only from the research I have done. Don’t bother with them. Sometimes you have to pay to play. IMO modding a 60k car is not like a civic. $600 is not bad.

I think it was @Mimosa that has the catless without CEL? We talked about this recently..

Yeah I'm using the Armytrix with the built in simulator.

Armytrix uses a built in simulator (a sealed off bung that contains the precious metals). I don't know if that makes a difference.

I kinda wish most DP manufacteres would include optional spacers for the O2 sensors. Maybe I'm just dreaming.

A lot of American companies are getting hit hard from the EPA. Burger/Cobb were the first big ones to fall.
