I don't think these cars are dropped that much - This photo below is 1.25 and 1.5 and the gap is minimal. you can even see the guys that are now installing the H&R still have a similar gap to pace cars
Those might just be 20" as with the larger tires the overall diameter is about an inch...

Following - We had this message with the install of the KW Suspension. We installed the KW Electonic dampening Cancelation kit and have had ZERO issues since - Wheels are coming soon, I would assume if you have the correct TPMS Sensor nothing would be an issue.

This actually is one of the few parts that does not have a BMW logo on it. The rear light is produced by Hella but stamped Toyota.
What your seeing is the second spot that has an angle to actually support the spring - there is a guide stop where the end of the spring goes also. You will see if you ever take one apart. ill see if i have a detailed photo.
