Can the boost be turned up on these cars? I've seen downpipe galores and tuning, but can we just raise the boost alone? Would that allow the ECU to compensate by itself for the other parameters?
True, but Toyota has been behind the scenes with BMW since the beginning of the Supra project. I would suspect they would have accounted for something like this. Toyota likes to think ahead with their products lifespan. I'm an Android user, so I'd like to have this feature..
The last 2 times I filled up my range indicator said 407 mi. And 387 mi. :hmm: this was after about 25+ miles of highway driving then fueling up. Otherwise my mpg says 22.9. I do 90% city driving. I've gotten 30-32 mpg going 75mph on a road trip that was 130 miles.
What are the steps you took to launch the car? I'm gunna be dragging my Supra this weekend at pbir. I've experimented launching with traction off and on, both times had slippage taking off.
I can confirm this. Just did a 278 mile round trip and got 31 mpg. Drove mostly 75-80mph on i95. Finally finished the break-in period of 1200 miles also. Car is amazing.
:hmm: I'll be waiting for the Japanese to come out with a tune. Warranty won't be voided if it's from TRD or Gazoo. I'd like to see HKS come up with a tune too. I like to bet my money and peace of mind on the Japanese.
