Everyone so worked up over the horsepower figure, overlooking the torque of this new Supra, 365 ft/lb. That's a lot compared to most sports cars in the range, especially NA ones. HP is speed, TQ is what you feel.

VR and VQ are best sounding V6s IMO. Alpha's V6 is okay, too messy sounding and garbled. There's no smoothness to a V6 sound (besides Nissan's V6s).

Any Inline 6 > any V6. Inline engines and flat 6s sound phenomenal and the power is linear as you progress thru the rev range. Inlines are intrinsically balanced and superior, compared to a V6 (packaging aside). Best application for a pure sports car for power and feel. Thank you for sticking...

Why do you drive sports cars? :hmm: It should be for the feeling above all else. The badge is irrelevant if the car 'feels' like a Supra (I6, RWD, Turbo). Names, logos are irrelevant when it comes to truly enjoying a sports car. Yes some auto manufacturers can make better cars than others, but...

Has any crash testing been done on the new Supra? I haven't seen or heard anything on that. I'd like for it to have awesome crash ratings. Safety is important these days since people don't pay attention on the road anymore.
