That seems high. Buts its mostly a labor cost. So it kinda depends on your local area. I paid $1700 for Xpel on the front bumper, hood, mirror and front quarter fenders.
Yeah they can't change the engine that easily. All the engine, drivetrain and chassis control are part of one system. The next gen will be powered by Mazda's new inline 6. But I'd wait for the 2022's to start arriving and negotiate hard on a leftover 2021.
Yeah for the range, I just disconnected the battery and reconnected a few mins later and it corrected itself. The range showed 0 again a few weeks later. I gave it a week to see if it would magically heal, and it didn't, so I just did the battery disconnect again and it went back to normal. Its...
I have a slight vibration around 60mph. It feels like the lane keeping but I have that at minimum and I'm centered in the lane. But if I go faster, above 70mph, it goes away. I so just drive faster lol
Get your left leg out the door first, then put your left hand on the plastic next to the door sill. Use that to push down on to help lift your body up. My old BRZ had a rubberized texture there to help remind people its there for them to use. The Supra is just a hard plastic.
Also, make sure to...
A lot of cars came with their alignments out of whack. My car is pretty solid braking from 120mph to 60mph. I'd take it to a performance shop that knows what they're doing.
I think they’ll have to ditch the V8 for a V6 TT because of fuel economy regulations. I think it’ll be the engine from the new land cruiser and I also believe it’ll be a hybrid, from the blue lettering on the “MAX” on the engine cover.
When I first joined this forum, I remember seeing posts from a few people saying that after a few weeks, they realized getting in and out of the Supra was starting to wear on them. Its easy to fall into it for the test drive, but running errands or daily driving isn't for everyone. Most of these...
Looks good. I'm more interested in the interior/infotainment upgrades. That's where all modern Toyota products suffer. (Except for the BMW tech in the Supra of course.)
Man I would just play dumb if the tune was lost. Most dealerships would try to void the warranty if you told them it was tuned. I even remove my OBD MX+ before I take it in. I don't want to give them any ammunition for voiding the warranty.
