Must be NICE  (kidding congrats and those welds look amazing!) ... meanwhile i've been staring at this......
Armytrix exhaust, and looks like Fedex dropped the box from up high as it bent the Stainless Steel end where the Tip goes (though I wish Armytrix would have packed it better)...
Take it to your local PPF location to see what they say; but when I tried to get another car of mine with mild amounts of rock chips PPFd, they said the smaller ones would hide somewhat, but the larger ones would look worse due to air pockets or bubbles.
Geez, that sucks; if you were to install PPF over that, it'll look even worse to be honest. In your case, you have no choice but to respray it. After you repaint it, you cannot immediately PPF the front bumper on freshly new paint as it takes weeks to for the paint to cure.
A while back in...
Got my Turbulence Grey badge today. I've removed emblems in the past before with fishing line with ease; on this car however, because how it's indented in the bumper\trunk, super sticky adhesive and the "clips", it was a bit nerve racking removing it (i put a bunch of painters tape around the...
What recently aggravated me is I saw a local Refraction Blue A91 with lime green powder coated wheels (i don't think the owner is on here). I could have just traded mine for his Black OE wheels since they were going to powder coat anyway :confused1: .. oh well
Ya, you're right, if I powder coat them and go to the track, i'll always have that "risk" in the back of my mind.
Painting them is an option, but shops here charge $800-$1,000 to get it professionally done (I get it, it's more work to Paint than to powder coat).
Oh well, I'll just be patient...
I'm still debating in Powder Coating mine as it's cheaper than buying A91 wheels. My fear is, since our wheels are Forged, Powder Coating "can" compromise the integrity of forged wheels. The level of compromise is fine for Daily Driving and even hitting potholes; however when tracking the car...
Just completed mine. I went to my local Michaels store and purchased the following:
x1 > https://www.michaels.com/simple-foam-cushion-by-loops-and-threads/10353015.html
x2 > https://www.michaels.com/classic-black-fiber-fill-by-loops-and-threads-8oz/10600735.html
With my 25% coupon and after...
I bought all the padding and stuff from local Michaels for under $20 with coupons, now all I need is a port. I saw yours have grills, did you just drill the hole and screwed in that cover? (yours looks like this one >...
I wonder if it needs to be activated, i'd contact the dealer....
Technically, since the Supra's are using the older BMW iDrive, CarPlay is subscription based; after 4 years for Supra owners, you'll have to pay a yearly fee to have CarPlay (the newer BMW iDrive systems -- this is all hardware -...
Ah, well if your car were Gray I would have traded my clean hatch for yours with the spoiler already on it. :D
In your case you could go with some rubber plugs (...
Yes there will be a total of 5 holes once removed. If you are putting another spoiler it’ll most likely cover it, in which case you can go for Gorilla Waterproof Patch and Seal tape and put it at both sides of the trunk holes prior in installing the new spoiler.
Ugh, Speed Industry has not been answering any of my emails recently and they've conveniently recently shut off phone support to email only support. Originally I wanted an exchange seeing that some here have had luck with their Rexspeed fitment (plus I really didn't want to spend over...
I've noticed most of these don't make it to junk yards for parting out, instead somebody (or a company) buys it at auction, repairs it, then resell it as a salvaged title.
I use to own V1 as well (awesome radar detector as stated above) but in the recent years, in my area anyway, all the cops started to use laser, which basically made my radar useless (when I got hit the V1 detected the laser, but by then your speed is already recorded).
That said V1 or Escort...
