"hey buddy I took these off your car and don't know where they go... Anyway, enjoy your dyno results"
? Who does that!? Some people just really don't care about the quality of their service ?
Literally did this the other day and saved as my sport individual for when I go hilly driving through an area with stupid "no loud exhaust" signs and obnoxious cops. It works! Lol
It's also possible that depending on the methods of care taken to clean your microfiber, it's just the cloth itself that's the problem. I've seen recommendations of not drying them in the dryer or with other types of towels so you don't compromise the fibers and/or get lint from poorer quality...
That's what I thought as well. I have a 2021 too, so I used the stock mounting bolts and both the through-bolts/nuts supplied with the Cusco for that reason.
I was going to bring up what everyone else mentioned above about losing tension and things getting looser as the washer degrades but...
Oh, and I also attempted to polish then ceramic coat the world's shittiest and most sensitive plastic trim:
Used chemical guys orange pad and VSS but was still getting swirls so had to swap to another brand softest pad and go over it several more times. It looks decent great from a foot away...
Some DIY updates and the finished product:
Did some polishing with mini polishing pads and a dremel(lol), chemical guys V36, and then CarPro C.quartz ceramic coated literally everything I own lmao
Also did a hand-brushed finish on the Cusco bar to be a little different. Love how it turned...
