This is what I thought as well because the Sport+ felt noticeably sluggish for about a day and then perked up. Also my brakes still feel like shit 90% of the time and idk if everyone is just use to it or mine is unique, but these brakes have sucked since day 1

For whoever may be interested, I masked off and coated the foam on the airbox inlet vent with 2 coats of Flex Seal. Strengthens/reinforces the foam
