Yeah it may be the same pump as in the G80 M3 since it's essentially the same base box (GS6-5XX), if that's the case it's for the gearbox's dry sump system which is very rare in manual boxes, helps significantly with keeping temps uniform inside (such as hard cornering and a shaft doesnt get...
Nothing from what I see on the parts diagram. Another idea, what if we add the AT heat exchanger in but use it for engine cooling with some custom lines?;)
Manual Supra has a dedicated cooling duct in the underbody to help cool, but yeah manual transmission doesnt get as hard because there arent much parts slipping in it

These NLS boxes were quite popular about a decade back, works with drive by wire and coil on plug, any MKV with it installed yet?
The people responsible for updating the Supra page in the Canadian website should be fired... For 2023 it was the Red Performance Pedals. 2024 it's the detuned AT 3.0 and engineering marvel 1550rpm 295hp 2.0... The colors for the cars in the configurator are also not as realistic looking as the...
^this, if trying to keep OD's the same front and rear. I wonder how the ESP will react to different OD's on front and rear? Maybe the drag racers can chime it?
Why are manufacturers doing comes to two main things
1. Do I need more rubber (in the form of OD) for tire heat management, ride...
I would observe the car sales sources in your area for 2-3 months before making a decision, like autotrader, FB marketplace etc. I'm in Vancouver, and so many people are backing out of their Supra orders here, 4 brand new MT (strat, red, yellow, black) units made their way FB marketplace alone...
Richmond and Vancouver, BC area, see at least one per day, I drive maybe only 15min avg per day. Crazy popular here, never seen a 2.0, and GR corolla is becoming a near daily spotting too.
Could someone chime in if the timing map is same between Sport and Normal? Only thing I can think of is using timing advance to change torque output without changing RPM
I giggled a little when I read this:p. You're not imagining things actually, when you're in D and on the brakes, the torque converter doesn't fully disengage. Sport mode has slightly higher idle RPM and increased torque, so what you're feeling is the change in engine torque, which makes the car...
Exactly, I feel like B58 suits the current Supra quite perfectly in terms of fun (sound and aftermarket engine parts), price, cost of maintenance and power. S58 Supra even if it happens, it'll be an over the top car (aka stiffer and more power than you'll need), likely just a collectors item...

Very different looking than sakhir, valencia and sunset orange in the release photos at Fuji which are taken in the sun. I think it has a better chance at being Fire Red...
Whatever you do, do not use any polish or wax. Try some alcohol spray (50% or more alcohol content), and wipe with soft cloth. Lysol wipes could work as well. Just make sure you clean it with water as well after using either options.
Kinda reminds me of Valencia Orange or Sakhir Orange from BMW, difficult to tell from lighting. I expect this to be available worldwide, just like the "limited matte white edition". May be in the form of A91 Special or something
It doesn't really matter as long as you know the gear ratio and input that into the dyno computer as well as final drive and wheel diameter. They typically used 1:1 ish gearbox ratio because it allows the car to take some time to build up the rpms and get higher resolution over the rev range...
The two absolutely can have the same suspension and handle differently. MT is lighter than AT, and the weight is coming from near the center rear part of the vehicle. As such, your moment of inertia, CG are all different. I'm not saying the two cars have the same suspension, but just saying they...
Yup self tappers are pretty normal for plate frames/ plates installed on bumpers. If you dont want to drill, can use double sided tape like they do in UK and Germany. just put some fake screw caps on the plate if you do that so it's not super obvious
