The real question should be will you let the dealer put 0w20 or 0w30 ACEA C5 and API SN oil that is way too thin for the B58 engine and likely only used to meet CAFE: corporate fuel efficiency standards.
I don't believe any 0w20 or 0w30 ACEA C5 and API SN oil has the appropriate...
Over the weekend I went to a shop specializing in alignments, literally the word alignment is in their name, Acme Alignment in Tulsa, OK. The car is lowered using Eibach springs, always tracked straight before and after lowering the car, but felt odd in the rear. Well, everything feels good...
There was someone on the forum that had a pretty convincing argument not to use large rear sway bars on RWD cars because you'd end up losing critical traction. Maybe they'll chime in on this.
I bought the Racer X Fabrication rear toe links, but it turns out I won't need them now. DM if you want to buy for $280 + shipping obo, never used, and appear to be very high quality. Fab X wants to charge 25% restocking free, that's why I'm trying here first.
I was thinking the same thing, without going too aggressive on rear toe, I would expect with less travel (lowered car & stiffer springs) and a bit more toe-in for the rear, when the suspension begins to travel have enough toe-in under load to not go neutral or worst toe-out with low load (under...
Anyone with setup experience, ideally a lot of experience please comment.
How much toe in would you recommend for the rear ballpark on a GR Supra that is lowered but not tucking the rear stock tires? When loading the front (under braking scenario) going neutral toe (or worst toe out) in the...
I don't now anything about Swift springs, but for reference if you were wondering, I'm lowered on Eibach, which I hear is one of the most aggressive spring stances you can get without going the coilover route. I have no rubbing and also run 13mm front and 15mm rear spacers.
Got the rims powder coated Stealth Satin Silver, it’s as close as they could get to Satin Platinum, and I’m very happy. Also, I’ve added a Magnaflow exhaust pic because I don’t think it gets the love it deserves.
Looks absolutely amazing and tremendously expensive. I'll consider buying something like this after the car is payed off, in the meanwhile I would be willing to drop some cash on a 2-piece rotor kit front and rear that would allow for me to continue to use the OEM calibers.
Does anybody have the HKS blow off valve on their Supra? https://art-of-attack.com/collections/2020-toyota-supra-a90/products/hks-super-sqv-iv-blow-off-valve-kit-2020-toyota-supra-a90
Which Motul 5w-30 were you thinking? Quickly scanning the technical data sheets I would opt for the 8100 X-CESS 5W-30 if my heart was set on Motul. My decision was based primarily on the HTHS and TBN values.
