That's exactly how I have mine set up and it's a great compromise between responsiveness and efficiency IMO. I agree on Sport+ as far as fun as well. It may not be much different than the default sport settings, but if you're going to burn the gas and put some wear on the thing anyway... might...
It's not in your "driving info" submenu? It's been a hot minute since I looked at it but I thought it was there along with average fuel econ, speed and time. Haven't had the update, so I'm not sure after, but I would hope it's at least still available in the gauge cluster area (via the top...
Yeah I'd think that would actually fill some of the stock gap pretty nicely when paired with wider wheels / more aggressive offset. At least visually. Tucked and stretched low profiles is more likely to look like a 4X4 IMO or just a half finished hellaflush disaster. ?
Now that ^ is some OCD perfection right there. Beautiful. In all your pics I never noticed anything about the fender covers at all that didn't look right. Wish I had the (insert thing here) to have an engine bay that looked that pristine.
One of these days I'll get around to...
Sooo freakin' worth it!
I'm definitely doing that... I'll save money by keeping the rest of it stock, but those 6.5" door pods are definitely gonna happen. Not only should it sound much better, but you've resolved the "dust catcher" problem as well!
I've hated those cubbies...
Well, that's somewhat understandable when Toyota's side of the "partnership" basically amounted to handing over a truckload of cash and then making a few tiny adjustments after BMW was done with everything.
To be fair however, the result is very good - and if GM would have done...
^ This. Plus with MKV's (as well as almost all German cars IME) if you got one without any problems... (especially electrical and/or oil leaks) you've already won a bit of a lottery - and you might not be as lucky next time around. Even if I could make $10K on the deal (which I can't) I...
Horrible choice and execution IMO. At least it would have made some sense if it was a gloss black, but between the matte and being not-quite-black it looks like a rattle-can paint job. o_O
If it was a gloss black, it would make the A-pillars and window surrounds look seamless - still wouldn't...
I just had this happen last night. I added the Ti bleeder a few weeks ago and figured I just didn't tighten it quite enough - going from plastic with phillips head to Ti with allen wrench, I was a little hesitant to put too much torque on it and strip the threads.
Looked it over in bright...
My worry is what it's transitioning into - it hasn't yet declared what it truly identifies as, nor instructed me on which pronouns are expected when referencing it.
Yeah, our sector basically got a huge boost during the pandemic. Remote workforce realities suddenly made IT a much more visible/critical infrastructure expense, even for the most ignorant executives. That's definitely not the case for many direct services and b&m retailers however.
Prior to 2019 it wasn't... but yeah, it definitely isn't a COLA increase any longer. If they keep printing like they have been (and buying T-bonds/MBS debt, etc.) even a 6% increase won't keep up.
It seems great for those with "extra" cars they were looking to unload anyway (and even...
@Mk5Frank
Nice shot! At first I saw the dock signs and wondered why you flipped the image, then saw your plates and got even more confused. Finally realized the signs are made for mirror viewing... I should have had my coffee first before hitting this thread. ?
Yeah that worst case is totally worth it considering I start my car normally and don't use CarPlay at all... I'll consider it around December (maybe).
I don't normally, but every once in awhile it gets pretty bad. Not as bad as some have said (10 secs or more) but at least it's quite...
