Lots of cars don’t want to race. Just want to drive fast and spirited together. “Cruise”, if you will. And sometimes it’s more of a cat and mouse thing. Lots of ways to have fun on the streets that’s not necessarily a race.
On the street, I hear you. On the track (drifting), the purpose for removing the bumper(s) is so 1) you don’t rip it off if you end up backwards off track and catch it on something, and 2) the tow vehicle doesn’t rip it off if you need help getting back on track.
I always commuted with my...
I checked out your videos and I forget if you or a comment mentioned a little drone at 2k RPMs? Can you clarify/confirm? That’s highway cruising RPMs, and I’m trying to avoid drone at all costs (but yes, I’d like a louder exhaust).
Might want to try a JB4. https://burgertuning.com/products/jb4-for-a90-toyota-supra
I think I read on here that @Jesse DaBears tuned a JB4 2.0 to low 12s (or more).
I’ve seen the Forsvara adapters for the typical pyramid shaped Torin jack stands, but are there any adapters that would fit their aluminum jack stands?
Getting a quick jack is not an option (due to space/environment - not cost). Just looking to use my current gear for the less than handful of...
Thanks for the tip. I’ve tried both. Pressing them while parked results in the seat and HUD moving all the way to the desired position and the mirrors doing nothing.
Pressing them while driving results in having to hold the button until the seat and HUD reach their final position. Again, the...
Not sure - I assume the car has some coding done (auto start/stop disabled or setting persistent, max screen brightness, fake engine noise disabled, etc.), but it came that way when I picked it up a month ago. I don't have a supported OBD dongle yet to read the bimmercode changes myself.
I'll...
Update: The passenger mirror tilt upon reverse is not working (tested on multiple drives today - it was working when I picked it up a month ago). Not sure when it stopped working, but I’d guess that it’s related.
Going to have a different dealer take a look (and do the brake recall, if possible).
Yes, mirrors can be adjusted with no issues. It is under warranty, however, the one time I've stepped foot in the Toyota dealership (to attempt to get the brake recall done) was not the greatest experience. :(
It is switched to the driver side to keep the passenger reverse mirror tilt...
Hey everyone - I recently picked up a new-to-me (~10k miles) 2020 Supra in Renaissance Red 2.0. Was interested in the unlocked ecu and lower risk of oil consumption issues. After getting a taste of RWD with my drift 350z (and selling it), I wanted a RWD coupe that's more friendly on the streets...
Update: Upon getting the brake recall fix, the exterior mirror memory feature and passenger exterior mirror dip upon reverse feature both work now.
I recently picked up a used 2020 Supra. I'm trying to sort out the memory seat function that is supposed to also save the exterior mirror positions...
