Not sure if the change to that HUGE wing makes any difference on the downforce specs, but it sure looks "great".
I guess at 150+ mph that wing will help. ?
I'm wondering where the 5% function is. Is it airflow? Cooling?
Look closely at the underside of your hood. To provide airflow, cutting will be required.
Not trying to be negative, just don't subscribe to the "function" aspect.
After looking at my hood, this product seems to be more form than function just like the stock inserts. Sorry, IMHO these are no different than the stock inserts. ✌️
My 2017 Highlander has the same issue. It is and has been a Toyota issue for some time now. For all of Toyota's wonderful ergonomic designs, this is one they have ignored for some time now.
Still magnificent cars/trucks/SUV'S IMHO.
Shout out for this simple fix. Installed these and have had no issues with the dreaded Toyota wind thump. Super easy installation that matches perfectly with the gloss black finish of the installation area.
I purchased tires from Tire Rack which arrived today. So I call Clearwater Toyota to have them mount, balance the tires and perform a 4 wheel alignment.
Service writer quotes me $400 for the alignment(4 hours labor....huh?) $300 for mount and balance.
NOPE! ???
Tire Kingdom... $300 for...
I remember my cars looking like that this time of year when I lived in Maryland. It sucks. I'm sorry.
Now in Florida, not a problem. Enjoy Texas brother.
Best for the money product I've purchased! Plus, once installed they fit the cars style perfectly. Toyota should have installed something like these stock.
7k miles and no chips at all behind any of my wheels.
Dang, mine lined up perfectly.
I was so impressed, I purchased another set that are on standby in my garage cabinet in case one breaks. I've had my first set for 5k miles with no issues.
Great product!
That kit is bad ass. I love it on the Tungsten over the stock black plastic.
Can you share a link to purchase? I have a Tungsten '21 and would love that look!
Regards....
Jerry
To begin, I'm 60 years old and have wanted a Supra since it's inception but could never afford one.
I settled for an '87 Corolla FX16 and since that car have been a Toyota fanatic.
Finally retirement has treated me well enough to purchase my '21 3.0 premium.
Everyone's comments about this car...
