No that isn't it. I've left my car running and went into my place before with key in my pocket and also gas station to grab a drink real quick. If you have anything Bluetoothed it will stop. When you come back to the car it will say on the screen "no key detected. Key may be too far" etc but...
Ive been trying this and thelast time I went to track really improved times for the track I was at(which is not very good) my only issue is all through 2nd I'm spinning straight into third. I think perhaps I need to shift into 3rd sooner. Thoughts?

Very possible, just hard to tell in a video that distorts the sound and such a confined open space. Unless you do it with everything closed up as well.
This is true, I actually work at a Toyota manufacturing plant. We are CONSTANTLY changing parts. The part number will be the same in most cases, but minor things may have changed. Piss poor example but, a weatherstrip may have a pink mark on it, new ones may have blue. Same part, different...
Talk to your dealer. When I took mine in the first time(putting the A91 spoiler on) they encouraged me to mod it. When I took it in for first oil change and brake recall they didn't say a word about my downpipe, exhaust, intake, lowered nothing.
