I’m sorry but you keep posting this and it simply isn’t true. This method was proven back in September on BimmerPost by GTP Motorsport I believe it was. You might be first on the Supra, but you’re not the only ones who have successfully done this.
Installed my exhaust, Tomei Single Exit.

Boost Logic downpipe showed up late so I’ll get it tossed in this weekend probably.
Also Goldenwrench Goodies!
From talking with Femto, it’s an OBD unlock but it only works with their proprietary tuning solution. DME must be sent to them for bench unlock still.

As @SD_MK said it will lock your ECU again requiring a bench unlock and your tune will need updated to the latest firmware. If you attempt to flash with BM3 you could brick your ECU, that is if the dealership doesn’t do...
It almost sounds like Femtoevo accomplished what Mission was trying to. Decided to reach out to Femtoevo to get a better understanding, according to them OBD flashing is possible after having them bench unlock the DME but you have to use their software to flash. Won’t work with ecutek, mhd or...
Yeah I just found it interesting that they’re claiming they can flash through OBD, from what I understand only bench flashing has been successful so far?
Saw this on Instagram, don’t know anything about the company or how legit their claims are but figured I’d share. Almost sounds like they’re sending the DME overseas with the turnaround times. Hopefully someone with more knowledge on the subject can investigate.
Yeah the location wasn’t great, it was very packed, hopefully they find a better location in the future. Summit Racing would’ve been 100% better for sure.
Thanks!
I’m also running the Z16s, they definitely don’t bite as hard as the stock pads did but they’re getting better since bedding them in and more miles. Unfortunately trade offs for everything.
