Thanks for chiming in with your experience! Your linked struts are 150lb, one of the highest I've seen in the thread, but they seem to be well dampened so they aren't just launching that force into the car, do you feel like they are indeed super strong? Are you going to try with some springs to...
So I copied over many music folders 1:1 from my library where each folder is a genre, but I have a python script to add 3 random letters to the start so that "next" via the scroll wheel is actually random / shuffle instead of just next alphabetical (I originally did this for the BRZ, shame that...
I removed one of mine day 1 to see what it was like, I wasn't a fan of the resulting spot since it leaves decently sized holes in the framerail, and from what I can tell the pads aren't easily removable, I broke clips so the pad I removed was never the same.
Gz and welcome, I've been toe to toe with a scatpack before, we got up to 140, seems like a cool car. There is an android auto mod that I've eyed https://www.bimmer-tech.net/category-android-auto-mmi-retrofit
For an old man you sure use some hip technology :P I'm on android and spotify doesn't have my tastes, though I think longer term I'll buy the android auto "mod", this is a stopgap and now hilariou as I've ordered a 1tb flash drive
I'm wondering what the max usb size can be used, I'm currently using a 256GB and I filled it up, hoping our cars support 512 or 1tb? Anyone crazy enough to try a 2tb flash / nvme drive? I imagine the filesystem matters, but clearly its not just limited to 32gb or lower like some car infotainments.
Wooo nice! How strong are your springs? Looking at the link posted by Vuuduu there is a 40mm long version which gets close to your length, but these might be stronger https://www.amazon.com/dp/B096FKT52W?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_dp_298K1YMMQ6B8NYN0B1B6&th=1
This also is just orderable on amazon since...
For anyone with a working fully auto open can you post links to buy everything online? That Model 3 video is confusing, he seems to be saying the springs make it easier to close, shouldn't it be harder?
Hmm this makes sense because its a BMW feature to learn driving and pedal mapping IIRC. I feel like Sport+ is a leftover default tuning from BMW and Toyota are the ones who tuned Normal Mode and Sport Mode. OR truly Toyota coded it that way in a harder to access part of the car, in which case...
Just did a bleed on all 4, but I wasn't the one on the pedal. I'd say the rears were indeed slower, but I also didn't drain any of the original fluid so I was doing the rears for a liter of fluid before moving to the fronts. Another theory is ABS / TC modules that use the brake fluid?
