If minimal touches is of any importance maybe look into a mobile installer in your area. That way no one else drives your car, you put it in the air, you remove the wheels, etc, etc.
When any oil change is done on any vehicle not all of the oil is going to drain out. Plus, if youāre using ramps on this car instead of lifting the car level even less is draining out. So putting in the full amount is always going to over fill it to some degree. I use 6.5 qts when doing an oil...
Originally I said this recall was pointless but maybe not. They seem to be in no hurry to fix the throttle hesitation issue. So might as well make sure the people who get T-boned because of it are in fact able to make an emergency call afterwards.
