Well, I am swapping a 981 GT4 for the Supra. I am not excited for the likely devaluation it will take from the 718 GT4. I also am sick of scraping twice trying to get into the driveway. However, its driving experience is unparalleled by anything other than a GT3 or more expensive exotics.
Well, again, that's not entirely correct. This car's closest M competitor is the M2. The M2 is not limited production, the majority are DCT, and it just got upgraded to a new engine. Yet, it is difficult to find low mileage, depreciated M2's. The Supra should be limited for a while, so I am...
I can only imagine how much of the car WONT work with a 2JZ in it. Imagine your brand new 60k Supra having less instrumentation and luxuries than a Ford Model T.
Because it is a B58. Tube would require a different intake or at least some small port to allow noise. Common sense would dictate the easiest path, which is to just copy the Bimmers.
I love my base golf. It's an awesome daily, I don't think there is one thing I dislike about it other than the 1-2 shift is sometimes a little rough if you shift too quickly. I've thought about getting a RS3.
You are completely right. I decided a long time ago I am not willing to pay any markup. None. If they do I will turn around and buy a M2 Competition with a stick, GT350, RS3, or I will hold onto the GT4. I personally think they are pushing it at the price they're asking for.
50k? So almost double MSRP. And let’s be very honest, it may be cool but there’s a good chance it won’t ever be a legend. So who in the hell would ever pay that much?
The 70 series Land Cruiser is very different. They still make the 70 series, but in other places. That means all the parts and tooling necessary were still brand new and up to date.
Lights are awesome, I will definitely try to buy something similar if they are made. The ducktail is pretty horrid to me. Looks like some fat sat on it.
