i came to a similar conclusion. driving around town at light throttle shows positive charge pressure and negative (clipped at zero) manifold pressure. in this case, i would expect the BOV to remain cracked open.
which channel is everyone monitoring?
there is no recirculating bov from the factory. during shifts, the engine keeps the throttle open and uses valve overlap to "swallow" excess manifold pressure and dump it to the exhaust. the farting noise is, essentially, a fart.
that almost sounds like a mechanical issue, like the bov seals are getting stuck or the spring is off axis and binding. does the valve appear closed with the engine off? I can't imagine any other way how it would open with positive manifold pressure.
AFAIK, this is only an issue with MAF-based...
i did something similar but cut a hole through a rubber grommet and went around the long way. don't think it was worth the extra effort in retrospect...
I think this is it:
https://www.dinancars.com/products/software-tuning/engine-tuning/inline-modules/dinantronics-sport/parts/D440-0047
Based on the install instructions, it only intercepts the charge pipe pressure sensor and manifold pressure sensor. So that means it can't take into account...
Ok, so let's convert this plot into layman's terms. First, let's figure out what the typical output is from the stock turbo. Since the stock turbo has a compressor inducer of 50mm, this is roughly equivalent to the GT3076 which has a compressor inlet flange of 51.8mm. Looking at the GT3076...
Do you have a quick picture of how this looks? i was thinking about something similar with a piece of angle iron, but wasn't sure how much space I would have to turn the bolt after it was zip tied up.
Any way I can get a replacement upper pipe when it comes out? I can mail back the current one if needed. I understand that it's already on the car, but it's a headache that I don't want to deal with each time I have to pull the pipe.
by one and done, I meant if the pushlock fitting needs to be...
One interesting thing to note is that because the BMS BOV is mechanically actuated (unlike the HKS BOV which detects changes in pedal position) you will get very short/sharp blow offs during gear changes with the 8AT - even at part or low throttle.

Found the answer to my question on whether it can be coded out after unlocking. it looks like flash tunes CANNOT force a READY state on the secondary o2 sensor...
concur with the two above points. maybe A reversible port with 2 screw holes.
Even with the slack provided by the jb4 wiring, the location of the sensor clip kind of a pain. i recommend clipping the connector to the sensor first, and then doing the screw after the pipe is on the car.
side...
After my car got delivered, it simply disappeared from the API. The ETA date never got updated, so it's possible that it's still in the allocation sheet just sitting in purgatory
While I agree with the logic of harness angle, I should point out that this is a SFI rule, and thus mainly apply to US racing bodies (NASCAR, NHRA, SCCA/NASA, etc).
The most notable difference is that FIA does not regulate shoulder harness angle. This is why you see so many professional racing...
Same thought, I'm curious how they defined "opted" when buyers don't have any option to choose, and every car produced already had a waitlist of multiple buyers.
Hey Jesse,
Got a few questions since I'm in IL and want to keep it legal until an unlock comes state side (if ever).
Does the DAW turbo inlet retain the PCV heater sensor, to avoid that CEL? I saw they posted a new prototype online last week, but I believe that port is just for the hose...
Put a deposit down on a White 2023 @ Kenny Kent Toyota in Evansville IN for MSRP. They weren't able to add or remove options, but I wanted the included ones anyways (driver assist and hood protection film).
$500 deposit was non-refundable.
late to the party here, what is the hotside wheel material? i know in mitsubishi evo crowd, it's highly recommended to downgrade from the titanium aluminide turbines to inconel if you plan to heavily track your car.
