I have definitely noticed burn after a track day or heavy racing. My oil has been good except when I burnt some on the drag strip, and burnt some when I hit top speed. I’m assuming it’s normal and the same cause for your burn after the track

If you think the c8 will go into limp mode from heat soak the way the Supra does then no. There are lots of better equipped cars for under 200k than the Supra
