    The smaller turbo spool is faster but does not make as much power or sound as nice as the bigger turbo. With that being said, the 3.0 has almost no lag so I would not be too worried about that aspect. Its comes down to budget and horsepower goals, if you are happy with the smaller engine...

    Im confused, you start by saying you have a tune but then are asking if you need a tune? Do you mean to ask if you need a new map for the modifications? You do not need need one, meaning there is no harm in running stage 1 but you can get more power from upgrading your map
