If you buy from a reputable place they use factory cores so that shouldn't be an issue. Buy off ali/ebay for cheap and you're rolling the dice.

I personally would leave it gloss to match the a-pillar trim etc. Matte down low gloss up top. Lines baby lines.

99% chance there will be no Android Auto in any vehicle with iDrive 6. Wouldn't hold your breath for it. Think its a hardware performance/capability issue not a software issue.

Best looking? The OEM+ subs always look and sound good. The delete portion is just bypassing using the factory subs at all. Essentially you could leave them, cap them or whatever you want to do for your aesthetics. I've got mine on pre-order. This will be my 3rd purchase from them.

If you have bimmercode don't waste the money on a coding session/cable. I'd have to go back and find the setting but it's the Aux 1 you need to make active. Updated firmware fixed all scaling issues.
