I’ve personally never been a dressing person for the engine… just collects dust most of the time (same goes for the interior). Leather conditioner… yes.
I like the simple clean look of a wash and dry in its natural state.
After trying several inexpensive low dust brake pads (Powerstop - both offerings)… and still experiencing quite a bit of brake dust…
I opted to spend quite a bit more money for a true 95% dust free ceramic pads with more bite. Disc Italia Hyper Ceramic Pads.

The install was rather straight forward and installed by a bmw mechanic… I don’t foresee any issues.
I was also assured the cover was created from an oem part.
All good here!
I had already upgraded the steering wheel but wanted to complete the package with a leather wrapped airbag cover with oem colored stitching and a gloss black emblem. Love it!
Purchased via the GR Store.
A before and after below for comparison.
I simply go to a quality .25 diy carwash. It’s all about the pressure of water. I use one that has higher pressure than most (some act like a garden hose - crappy) .… wash with the soap selection … then rinse with the water and dry as normal. No added cleaning chemicals are needed.
