Today I had original 50% side window tint removed and swapped to 35% (a touch darker). Hatch was 35% (still is) and the full front windshield is 50%. I think it looks fantastic now… still allowing light through without looking too dark.

I would think it would be easier to purchase the mirror as a whole unit and swap it out. Even if that means buying a like new used one. This would make for an easier swap. Appears to be attached by 3 bolts and a harness plug.

I simply power wash the engine at the quarter carwash with the soap and then rinse. I dry all of the other engine areas off less the main engine cover. You are right the cover can’t be wiped down due to the grabbing material its made of. I sure wish it was made of a smooth black finish.
