Yeah they used an in ground rack with mine as well (even allowing me to pull it in and out). My car was still very near to factory specs after lowering. The only minor adjustment was to the rear toe. Tracks and handles great.
I think once the car is lowered and perhaps wheels spacers are added... the wheels flares would be more pronounced... tying all items together and looking more balanced.
Are all of the carbon fiber hood vents without the mesh opening an overlay stick on?!?
I’m looking for a full replacement in CF but without the opening.
To maintain my engine compartment... I use a .25 diy car wash with nice psi pressure. I simply use the soap selection and then rinse with the water. I also do the same to the underside of the hood. Then dry as normal. End result a spotless engine compartment.
No additional chemicals or...
Alignment Day... after Eibach spring install (allowed 200 miles to settle in).
The tech offered some serious attention to detail (even covering the wheel apparatus with a steering wheel cover where it meets the rim). Tipped well. ?
Question... Can one determine the ecu date stamp without pulling the ecu out? Thanks
My 2021 has a build date noted in the door jamb of 7/20. Wonder if mine is locked?
~ Yes I agree the plastic pins were a pia.
After screwing around with them (bending)... I elected to head to ace hardware and purchased small metal dowel pins (perfect fit) and they easily tapped in place with a small hammer. Very secure.
~ Well after seeing the differences in material compounds & dust reduction ... I elected to switch from the Z16 (low dust) to the Z26 (near zero dust) pads.
I installed the front ones tonight and will report back once I put some miles on them. Awaiting the matching rears to arrive.
