Thanks!
Yes indeed not something I’d ever recommend doing without major experience. And you’re right the Supra is much more difficult than most applications.
And as I always say… “the product is only as good as the installer”. The end result is all about the installer.
I’m a perfectionist so…...
~ yes but with the exception of the hood. too large of a piece (72”x72”) for a one man show. ?
i’ve installed about 500 kits since the late 90’s
therapeutic to me in some weird way.
My Toyota experience was flawless.
They even allowed me to personally drive the to and from the techs service bay. No one drove the car but myself.
Their attention to detail was second to none. The Supra tech was a true car guy and appreciated a caring owner.
~ Same here… mine was missing at delivery and the dealer purchased another and had it painted.
Meanwhile the original one was located in the cup holder.
So now I gladly have a back up.
I would strongly suggest getting the car up on a lift and blasting the underside at multiple angles with a great deal of water pressure with a power washer. This should flush any remaining salt or residue from the underside and access the nooks and crannies.
This would allow me to sleep better...
I would love these for the Supra… (replica BMW M wheel). However the spacing offset and width is the main issue.

When driving the car hard/aggressively … I always allow the engine to idle for a few minutes or so before shutting the car off.
Just feels like it’s best for the car to cool off a bit.
