...On the same tire, and degrades ride quality and has less contact patch than the wheel can accommodate, compared to a more square sidewall.
I understand what you are saying. When I referred to OEMs I was speaking of vehicles like Honda Accords, Audi A3, Hyundai or Kia almost anything, etc...
Yeah. Agreed. Stance scene fads are best left to cars that don't perform very well to begin with. A small amount of stretch is fine (OEM setup for example), but I'm not a fan either. It's actually kind of surprising how much stretch a lot of OEMs have presently.
Appreciate the final picture. I have a US spec kit at home, but after seeing all the pics of these, this is the drop I was looking for from the beginning. Even, pretty mild, still low enough to satisfy my aesthetic needs. Nice job on the video too.
I'm deployed right now and can't view ebay, but I had my brother look for it and he found it too. Hoping seller has options available for the stripes, etc. Unfortunately I'll have to wait until home to contact.
There is an AWE "heat shield" as part of the intake box. There isn't a separate heat shield for the turbo independent of the intake that fits with the AWE intake, if in fact the Verus does not fit. Both sides of a heatshield get hot. how hot and the delta between sides surely differs with...
Huh. That would be unfortunate. I was planning on doing the heat shield if I went with an aftermarket intake.
If this doesn't work...AWE turbo heat shield solution?
I always make sure the car up to temp...but I have driven it pretty much how I'm going to drive it from the test drive on. I was only able to put 340 miles on it before storage. but i test drove it for a reason. I wanted to know how it performed, and I wasn't disappointed. I don't drive like...
Wow. I would triggify one right now, but I'm deployed and they block ebay/auction sites on us. 2 weeks 'til I get home. Hopefully they are still available at this price. Thanks for the heads up.
Yeah, I have to agree...if a vendor offers a part or service, all of the media should be available on their website in addition to (if not a priority over) social media platforms.
I'm usually a go over show guy. But this thing looks and sounds so good I might buy even if it made exactly 0 hp. Need a downpipe and tune first, but I'll probably end up with one of these soon.
AWE's stuff always looks the truth.
