For feel, you're going to get the best experience using Manual Only in Sport mode.
Also, you don't have to downshift every time you're coming to a stop, the car will do it for you even in manual mode.
I avoid using the pedal shifters in auto since it reverts back a bit quick.
I took the Supra to Vegas for Memorial day weekend, and I reset the trip meter before I left.
For the whole trip, the car read 37MPG.
I did drive a bit like an idiot while in Vegas, but only for maybe 15 miles worth of road.
The MPG on the way there read about 38MPG for a 4 hour trip, and was...
He actually likes the cover more, it's kind of like a den for him. The trunk is pretty deep, but yeah he can't stand in it, which I personally don't have a problem with since he shouldn't be moving around too much while I drive.
With the cover off he can definitely stand up, though it gives him...
Hey everyone,
Every other day I take my husky out to the dog park in the Supra, and I get away with keeping it pretty clean (aside from fur) by putting him in the hatch with a blanket down and reaching towards the center arm rest.
I wanted to find out if anyone knows of a better solution to...
Honestly?
Two Supra owners could definitely try it out. Ideally two people who trust each other with a '21 locked and unlocked ECU at least. They can just swap it manually and go to a dealership and say they need the ECU reprogrammed.
There's also the change of it hurting warranty, so I'm not...
I'm interested in finding the answer to this too.. Supra owners with no plans of tuning their cars could be a goldmine for ECU swaps if it's all compatible.
That being said, 2020 models have the B58B30C engine, and 2021 models have the B58B30O1 engine.
If it is possible to simply swap ECUs...
I can't wait for all the smart people like you to get this all figured out and just tell me what to buy in a couple weeks/months :)
I just want to throw in a moderately bigger turbo, catted DP, and supporting mods and call it a day.
I work from home but I've been dailying the Supra. Once I finish having my fun probably at 3k miles, I'll start driving my 2002 Civic sedan. Bought it for $1k lol. It's fun showing people the two cars next to each other.
I drove mine hard basically everyday with lots of redline pulls, no launch control launches yet though.
Just hit 1200 miles, gonna go cruise down to a San Diego GT-R meet with some friends tomorrow morning then taking it to get its first oil change.
Oil still reporting max, so let's see if I...
