I’d be willing to bet there are strings attached, either a bunch of BS fees/extended warranty/pre-paid service, mandatory trade-in, financing through one of their lenders at a terrible rate or some combination.

I wonder if they'd actually be willing to sell it at $76,316+Taxes & Doc Fee ($899), if so that's actually pretty reasonable.
2023 MT w/ 3200km's
My biggest gripes (some already captured):
- The car is too softly sprung, wish it had slightly higher spring rates and/or some magnetomagical dampers
- The clutch delay valve is poorly integrated, the 1-2 shift is tricky to get smooth
- No camber adjustment in the front...
Sorry to hear that OP, I didn't have a great experience with the dealership I purchased my '23 MT from either (Northwest Toyota Edmonton), to be fair they did end up trying to work with me afterwards, only took me holding my response to the Toyota Customer Satisfaction Survey hostage. Which by...
When I build a 2SS 1LE online it’s $52.9K, a Supra Premium is $63K, so yah a fair bit more money.
Again you seem to be ignoring the fact the lap times were not set on the same day.
On the same tires, on the same day/conditions, with the same driver, which would be faster is anyone’s guess, but...
Unless both lap times were set on the same day under the same conditions, you need to take lap time comparisons with a huge pinch of salt. Besides, nobody is saying the Supra is slow, but it is substantially more expensive than an SS 1LE, while being much smaller and much lighter, not exactly...
Yah the soft springs, crappy dampers and lack of camber adjustment up front on the Supra are my biggest gripes. You're right that they can be mostly fixed with aftermarket parts, I just think it's a shame there isn't a factory option. Most other sports cars do have some sort of a "handling"...
Having owned an SS 1LE prior to my '23 Supra there are a couple major things the Chevy does way better than the Supra. Those Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) dampers, part of the 1LE pkg., are fan-freaking-tastic, that near 3700lb car stays flat on track/autocross when in track mode and in tour mode...
It's the only factory approved method of adjusting camber on these cars. You can get swivel bearings that add 0.5° of camber (positive) or remove 0.5° of camber (negative) when compared to stock.
Only one I could find, but I don't think that car is stock. I bit the bullet and ordered one, been waiting 3 weeks already and still not shipped :(
Would love to hear a sound clip on an otherwise stock car and still looking for the actual weight compared to the stock exhaust.
